The past several months have been tough on everyone, including families. The physical distancing due to COVID-19 has changed our relationships, our roles, and our routines in terms of child care, school and play time.
We are officially green though now, so hooray! What does this mean for you and your family? It means that you are allowed to have indoor and outdoor gatherings but with certain restrictions. Check out the current measures in force to see what is permitted in a green zone.
EPIQ is also shifting to green with in-person activities
To celebrate the recent shift to green and to get back into the swing of things, EPIQ will return to in-person events in 2021-’22. Woot, woot! EPIQ, or English-speaking Parents in Québec, will hold a Planning Party in August, which will also be our first in-person event of 2021, and YOU are invited!
EPIQ is a great way to build a network of new friends and a welcoming community vibe. In recent years, parents have hosted family outings, events for moms and dads like pumpkin patch outings, apple picking, clothing swaps, spa nights, tobogganing, and our annual HOHOHO Holiday Party. All events are led by volunteer parents like you but we’re here to help you spread the word.
Be part of the planning for the coming 2021-’22 year! Join us on Wednesday, August 18that 6:00 pm. Bring your smiles, energy, event ideas, agendas, and your appetites! Please let us know if you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions so we can take this into account when ordering a boxed meal for you.
Sign up FAST! Only 10 parents can register due to space restrictions and social distancing requirements.
To register or for more details, please contact Jessica Price, Family Matters Program Coordinator: jprice@jhpartners.net

Looking forward to seeing you in-person again!
Warmest regards,
Jessica
