The countdown to spring is on!

The countdown is on and believe it or not, spring is at our doorsteps!  With days getting longer and warmer, now is the time to get outside and enjoy these last weeks of winter before the snow is gone.  I personally love these warmer and snowy days when we don’t get freezing toes as we play outside but we are not knee-deep yet in slushy snow.  We are incredibly lucky to live in a city that embraces winter like no other and there is something to do for everyone, at any age.  Be sure to check out the links in the March newsletter for great winter activities around town, including some great suggestions for March Break.

Easing of health restrictions, now what?

If you are like me, you may have mixed feelings about the gradual easing of health restrictions and safety measures.  I am happy to be able to do more things and see more people but I am also hesitant after two years of being careful and I still worry about the vulnerability of my children and at-risk family members.   Stay tuned as we hope to be able to offer an information session in the coming months on finding our way back to “normal” and supporting ourselves in the process.  In the meantime, let’s decide to give ourselves a break and allow ourselves the time to adjust.  It is okay, it has been a rough two years!

As always, please check out our Family Matters programming and don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you need assistance.  I would be happy to share resources or point you in the right direction. jprice@jhpartners.net

Hoping for a lovely last few weeks of winter and a great start to spring!  In the meantime, be sure to check out all the up to date safety measures in effect in our region.

Jessica Price, Family Matters Program Coordinator

Warmest regards,

Jessica
